Munich, February 20, 2026 – Munich-based social media and digital marketing agency LOBECO was responsible for the construction and operation of two studios and supported content production for long-standing client MSC as part of the three-day Munich Security Conference 2026 (MSC) at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Live recording, editing of long videos & shorts and provision of content – all directly on site in the MSC YouTube studio in the middle of the Bayerischer Hof. This allowed the interviews to be posted as social media assets in almost real time.
In close cooperation with the MSC team and YouTube, LOBECO took on numerous tasks relating to the #MSCYoutubeStudio: Conception and construction of the studios, supervision and recording management, editing of political content, post-production, creative production of quote graphics and thumbnails, playout for social media as well as advertising placement and monitoring.

The MSC YouTube studio, which LOBECO has been supporting at the Munich Security Conference for five years now, hosted numerous interview guests. These included German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU), several federal ministers such as Environment Minister Carsten Schneider (SPD) and former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The podcast “The Rest is Politics” also featured Alexander Stubb as an interview guest.
The increase in reach is considerable: “Today – just a few days after the end of the security conference at the Bayerischer Hof – the YouTube channel already has around 1.9 million views. A significant increase on the previous year,” says CEO Lorenz Beringer.
“As every year, the biggest challenge, apart from the busy production schedule, is the short lead time for the construction of both studios, as they have to be built within two days and dismantled again within 24 hours. This requires good preparation, precise coordination and well-coordinated teamwork,” adds Studio Manager Niklas Ben El Mekki.
Every year, world leaders gather at the Munich Security Conference at the Bayerischer Hof. The extensive preparations in the hotel and the massive security precautions inside and outside provide impressive “behind the scenes” elements for the content production.
